In this small patch of woodland, two young monkeys face the toughest time of their lives. As they find their place in the world, they must learn which neighbours are allies, and which are foes. Who to trust, and who to avoid. They will suffer loss, and gain friends, as they discover what it means to be part of the Woodland Troop. In this film we see how the lives of these extraordinary animals rely on the relationships between the troop, and how social status becomes everything. The fight for survival is paramount and to be respected in this troop they must earn respect.
